Identity Widgets

Three widgets appear across multiple DVs to show who is wearing the device and whether a duress alert is active. They are all dynamic but are not populated by devdata telemetry — instead they come from the device’s allocation configuration or internal alert state.

Widget reference

Section titled “Widget reference”

user_name

Section titled “user_name”
  • Type: dynamic text
  • Value source: Device’s allocation data (typically vname in the duress DV user data, or a field set via updateLocal/updateRemote).
  • Used in: duresshome, badge_lock
  • Not used by the duress_appfor alerts. The portal’s associatedUser field is completely independent.

user_role

Section titled “user_role”
  • Type: dynamic text
  • Value source: Same allocation data as user_name (usually vrole or user_role).
  • Used in: duresshome, badge_lock

duress_flag

Section titled “duress_flag”
  • Type: dynamic graphic (alert bell icon)
  • Value source: Device’s internal alert state. Hidden ("show":false) by default; becomes visible when a duress alert is active.
  • Used in: duresshome, badge_lock
